Pick and Pack Services for Dropshipping Sellers in China
The Dropshipping Agent, operated by Mutual Dropshipping, provides pick and pack services built around the way online sellers actually run their stores: one order at a time, dispatched directly to the end customer. If you hold stock in our China warehouse or route sourced products through us, every order that comes in is picked from stored inventory, checked, packed, labelled and handed to the shipping line under a single per-order handling fee. There is no separate pick fee, no subscription and no minimum order quantity.
This page explains exactly what pick and pack fulfillment covers here, how accuracy is protected at the packing bench, how multi-item and bundled orders are handled, and how picking and packing feed directly into dispatch times.
What Pick and Pack Covers
Our pick and pack services are a complete per-order handling workflow, not a partial warehouse task. Each stage below is included in the handling fee:
- Order picking from stored stock. When an order syncs from your store, the item is located and picked from the stock you have stored with us. Sellers buy their own products and store them in our warehouses; we do not pre-stock goods on your behalf, so the stock we pick is always yours.
- Free quality check before packing. Every item is checked before it is packed. Quality checks are free and form part of the standard flow from sourcing through QC to warehousing and dispatch.
- Packing materials and box choice. We select appropriate packaging and box size for the product so items arrive in saleable condition. Packing materials are part of the per-order handling service.
- Labelling, including store branding options. Orders are labelled for the shipping line, and store branding is available if you want your own presentation: custom packaging, thank-you inserts and product logos. Branding carries a minimum quantity and a separate customisation fee — ask your account manager for the exact figure for your product.
- Handover to the shipping line. Once packed and labelled, the parcel is handed to the shipping line for direct delivery to your customer, with tracking synced back to your store automatically.
Because picking, QC, packing and labelling sit inside one per-order handling fee of US$0.50, US$0.75 or US$1.00 depending on the product, you can model your margins before you commit. You pay only the product cost, shipping and that handling fee. For a full breakdown of how the fee tiers work, see our fulfillment pricing page.
One Handling Fee, No Separate Pick Fee
Many sellers come to us after being quoted a pick fee, a pack fee and a separate labelling charge. Here, the per-order handling fee of US$0.50–US$1.00 covers picking and packing as one service. The app and quality checks are free, there is no subscription fee, and storage is free for the first 30 days at the China and US warehouses (storage beyond 30 days is quoted on request). That structure makes pick pack fulfillment predictable: the variable cost per order is visible up front, and add-on branding costs are quoted separately and transparently.
Accuracy Practices at the Packing Bench
Picking errors are the most expensive mistake in dropshipping — they cost you the sale, the return shipping and the customer. Our accuracy practices are deliberately simple and repeatable:
- Item check against the order at the packing bench. The picked item is verified against the order details before it is sealed, so quantity, variant and product match are confirmed at the point of packing.
- Photo confirmation available. If you want visual proof before dispatch, photo confirmation can be arranged through your dedicated account manager.
- Account manager oversight. Your account manager is reachable directly for quotes, orders and after-sales, which means discrepancies and special instructions are handled by a named person rather than a ticket queue.
These checks apply equally to single-item and multi-item orders, and they are the reason in-stock orders can be dispatched quickly without trading accuracy for speed.
Multi-Item and Bundled Orders
Bundles and multi-item carts are common in dropshipping, and they are handled as one picked and packed unit. When a customer orders several products, the items are picked together from your stored stock, checked against the order line by line at the bench, and packed in packaging sized for the combined shipment. Bundled orders are treated as a single per-order handling event, which keeps your cost structure simple as your catalogue grows. If you sell kits or sets, tell your account manager how you want them presented and which branding options apply.
How Pick and Pack Connects to Dispatch Times
Picking and packing are the steps that stand between a paid order and a tracking number, so the workflow is built around dispatch speed:
| Order type | Dispatch timeline |
|---|---|
| Product already in stock | Ships within 1 day |
| Product requires sourcing first | Ships within 3 business days after payment |
For in-stock items, the sequence is short: order syncs, stock is picked, QC is completed, the item is checked against the order at the packing bench, packed and labelled, then handed to the shipping line — all within the 1-day dispatch window. Tracking numbers can be issued in advance, and after dispatch tracking syncs back to your store automatically. From China, delivery to the US takes 8–12 days in peak season; orders dispatched from the US warehouse arrive in 2–5 days, and overseas warehouses are also available in Japan, Australia, Germany, Spain, Poland, Canada, France, Belgium, Czechia and the UK.
Pick and pack is one stage of a wider flow that also covers product sourcing, warehousing and direct shipping. To see how it fits into the end-to-end model, read our guide to dropshipping fulfillment, and for the broader service set — including platform connections for Shopify, WooCommerce, Salla and Lightfunnel stores, plus CSV/Excel manual ordering for eBay sellers — see our eCommerce fulfillment services page.
Damaged or lost parcels are reshipped free or refunded, except where the recipient address provided was wrong. To discuss your products and get a handling fee confirmed, contact your account manager or email info@mutualdropship.com.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a separate pick fee on top of the handling fee?
No. Picking and packing are included in the single per-order handling fee of US$0.50, US$0.75 or US$1.00 depending on the product. The app and quality checks are free, and there is no subscription fee; storage is free for the first 30 days at the China and US warehouses, with storage beyond 30 days quoted on request. Branding such as custom packaging, thank-you inserts and product logos is the only optional extra, and it carries a minimum quantity and a separate customisation fee quoted by your account manager.
Can I see proof that the correct item was packed?
Yes. Every item is checked against the order at the packing bench before sealing, and photo confirmation is available through your dedicated account manager if you want visual proof before dispatch.
How fast are in-stock orders picked, packed and dispatched?
Orders for products already in stock ship within 1 day. Orders that need sourcing first ship within 3 business days after payment. Tracking numbers can be issued in advance, and tracking syncs back to your store automatically after dispatch.
